I’ve long complained that the millions of dollars of our hard-earned tax dollars that annually that go for lege slush funds/NGOs produce no real results for the taxpayers.

Today, I’m pleased to report that the money is now beginning to produce results. The funds provided the necessary “bait” to indict and hopefully convict some of our wayward politicians. (See story here.)

I’m not pleased to report that once again it took the Feds to do what should have been done for years by state and local law enforcement. These slush funds/NGOs provide an opportunity akin to hunting over a baited field, yet our state law enforcement agencies have not even shown an interest.

Fortunately, there is no Federal bag limit for the taking of politicians and it is not a Federal crime to hunt them over baited fields. Hopefully, spreading money before LA politicians is not considered entrapment.
