Missing campaign material Friday, Mar 13 2009

Much of Bobby Jindal’s platform/promises on which he ran for office was posted on-line on the Internet. I had bookmarked four links to them dealing with ethics, fiscal matters and healthcare.
Today, after reading that Bobby was going to appoint a commission to tell him how to do his job (see story here), I decided to see if the creation of a commission was one of his promises or whether he promised to streamline government without a commission.
Interestingly, after having the items posted on the Internet for over 2 years, suddenly they have all been replaced with a single propaganda site for Bobby.
Obviously, Bobby doesn’t believe in the things on which he campaigned like accountability and transparency. Maybe, Bobby learned about how to deal with transparency from New Orleans Mayor Ray Nagin who simply deleted all his email files from the city’s server. Or maybe Bobby just isn’t as technically savvy as he led us to believe.
If anyone has a copy of any of Bobby’s campaign brochures that you put into electronic form and email to me, I’d appreciate it.
