Actual expenditures in Jindal first Operating Budget (2008/09) was $23.8 Billion*. The Operating Budget passed Sunday for FY 13 is $25.6 Billion.

That’s a $1.8 BILLION increase in four years. Not included is the growth in Capital Outlay spending.

You decide if Jindal has reduced state spending.
