The bossman

Forty-eight members of the lege (39 representative and 9 senators) stood up for lege independence. Ninety-six members decided to remain as serfs to Bobby Jindal.

For the record Senators Ben Nevers, D-Bogalusa; Jack Donahue, R-Mandeville; Eric LaFleur, D-Ville Platte; Karen Carter Peterson, D-New Orleans; Dale Erdey, R-Livingston; Ed Murray, D-New Orleans; Troy Brown, D-Napoleonville; Rick Gallot, D-Ruston and Sharon Weston Broome, D-Baton Rouge voted to call themselves into a special session so that they could have input on our behalf in the budget cuts made by Bobby Jindal.

The 39 House members supported a special session can be found here.

The next time you are confronted with a shortage of state services and your lege tells you that they’ve done all they can do, but their name is not on these lists, tell them they are lying.

Those that didn’t sign simply chose Jindal over you.
