Ain’t dere no more

According to Rep. Bret Geymann, there will be more state budget cuts before the end of the fiscal year.  (See story here.)

There is a simple explanation for this problem.

Obviously, Team Jindal was using the Maya Calendar to budget for FY13.

Fortunately for us and unfortunately for Team Jindal the world didn’t end on
December 21st.

It appears that the fictitious revenues included in this year’s budget, like the apocalypse, won’t materialize, at least, not before July 1.
