Leges should review their oath of office Friday, Feb 1 2013

Remember what you said?
In her column Monday, Associated Press writer Melinda Deslatte explains how Bobby Jindal has stampeded the leges into running over our state constitution. ( See column here.)
Thus far, the Louisiana Judicial has done its job of upholding the state constitution. The current count is LA Constitution 3, Leges 0.
The leges’ (and judges) oath of office requires them to “…support and uphold the constitution … of this state….”. It does not require them to support the governor.
The leges should obey the constitution rather than Bobby Jindal.
