Why this website Monday, Nov 14 2005
The penalty good men pay for indifference to public affairs is to be ruled by evil men.“ Plato
Good people in Louisiana are currently suffering, not from Hurricanes Katrina and Rita, but for the failure of its citizens to pay heed to Plato’s admonition. Until we insist that our public officials serve us instead of themselves, good people will continue to suffer.
This website is not intended as daily source of news nor objectivity. If you are an elected official, especially a member of the Louisiana legislature, you will hate this site. If you are happy with the status quo in LA the site will be of no value.
If you think we can do better in Louisiana then this may be the place for you.
This website is, hopefully, a way that one, who so desires, can become educated about the performance (or nonperformance) of their elected officials, so that informed decisions can be made at election time. In addition to objective (voting records) criteria you will find points of view not necessarily found elsewhere.
This website is dedicated to returning Louisiana to its rightful owner, its citizens.
